An eminent Supreme Court lawyer, Smt. Meenakshi Lekhi is serving as Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) since June 2014.

She is also the National Spokesperson of Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP).

She has been part of the Drafting Committees for Bills like “Women Reservation Bill” and has also played an active role in the drafting of the Criminal Law(Amendment) Bill, 2013
